MagRelease planer board releases use calibrated magnetic force to hold securely while trolling and release cleanly when needed. Designed for standard braided or monofilament line, these releases provide dependable performance and are available in multiple mounting configurations to fit popular planer boards.

Each package includes two releases. Select the correct model for your board’s mounting style:

• Wide Base: Fits boards with two attachment screws or bolts spaced approximately 1 inch apart. Compatible with many Offshore, Yellow Bird, Opti Tackle, XPS, Gator, and similar boards. Installation bolts are included for riveted Offshore boards.

• Church TX-22/Walleye Board: Fits Church Walleye and TX-22 boards, plus similar models with attachment screws spaced approximately 5/8 inch apart.

• Church TX-12 Mini: Fits Church TX-12 Mini boards and similar boards that use a single attachment screw.

The releases can be used with tattle flags after a small modification to the planer board. A pinned rear clip is required for proper operation.

Please note: Standard MagReleases are not designed for lead-core or copper line. Choose the HEAVY MagRelease for those trolling setups.
