The Benchmade SlipRidge 15650-COMBO puts together two complementary field tools: the SlipRidge Fixed and dedicated SlipRidge Gut Hook.

The main knife has a CPM MagnaCut drop-point blade with Benchmade’s fine SelectEdge, combining excellent corrosion resistance and toughness with the control needed for field dressing and detailed cutting. Its stabilised maple wood handle brings some traditional character without the sensitivity to moisture of untreated timber.

The accompanying SlipRidge Hook uses tough, corrosion-resistant 440C stainless steel and is designed for quick opening cuts, preserving the MagnaCut blade for the more precise jobs. Better still, it nests neatly onto the knife’s modular Boltaron sheath, keeping the whole system together rather than adding another bit of kit to lose in the undergrowth.
