Fallkniven knives are all about the blade! Everything is focused around how the edge integrates with the hand seamlessly and effortlessly. 

The Fallkniven RL1 is no exception. The steel is, of course, one of the best you will find in a folding knife. ELMAX stainless steel is a so-called “super steel” meaning it’s properties of hardness and edge retention are far above the normal. It is a high chromium-vanadium-molybdenum-alloyed steel, made of 1.7 percent carbon, 18 percent chromium, .3 percent manganese, 1 percent molybdenum, .8 percent silicon, and 3 percent vanadium. It is also what is known as a “powder steel” meaning it has no discernible “grain” making it extremely strong.

The design of the RL1 is also blade centric. The Elforyn handle is shaped to flow to the blade making the balance and feel in the hand second to none in use.
