In Commercially Pure Titanium, the mechanical properties are controlled by the chemistry input; higher amounts of Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Iron will increase strength properties. CP Grade 4 is higher in strength than CP Grade 1, 2, and 3. It is sometimes referred to as “CP 70” due to its approximate yield strength.
