The Scott Sector fly rod replaces the long-standing Meridian series with a completely new design focused on durability and top-tier performance in saltwater conditions. Built with ReAct technology, the rod reduces vibration and boosts recovery speed by blending Scott’s X-Core construction with updated materials and tapers, resulting in a smooth yet powerful feel. Its Carbon Web technology enhances strength and torsional stability by wrapping the blank in a layer of ultra-light, multi-directional carbon fibers, making it one of the toughest rods available. The hardware is equally advanced, featuring Ceracoil stripping guides with nickel-titanium frames and Zirconia inserts for low friction and resilience, along with titanium snake guides that offer exceptional durability and a subtle, low-glare finish. Completing the setup is a self-indexing black anodized aluminum reel seat with a secure double uplocking system, and the rod comes housed in a protective aluminum tube for safe transport.
